








Custom Cut Half Pork (NON-GMO and Forest-Raised)
Purchasing a half pig is a smart way to stock up your freezer for the year. You will save about 25-30% off retail price and get the meat cut your way. August 13th 2025 is the butcher date.
We raise our pigs in the woods and rotate them to new ground regularly. They get to run around, play and forage while they are supplemented with non-GMO feed. This produces a superior product compared to grocery store pork, with a red color and great marbling. They are never given antibiotics, hormones or any chemicals. These are fine, heritage-breed Hampshire hogs.
Our pork is processed by Finest Butcher in Fauquier County, VA.
Half Hog - $6.00 per pound hanging weight (Half is approximately 75-95 pounds hanging weight) There is a $50 non-refundable deposit. (The Hanging Weight is what the pig weighs after it has been killed and the entrails are removed. This is the weight you are charged by. The weight of the packages you receive will be about 75-80% of the hanging weight.)

1. Place your order here and pay your $50 deposit online.
2. The cut sheet must be submitted to Finest Butcher prior to August 13th 2025. Be sure to put in Oz Homestead as the producer. We can fill out the cut sheets ourselves with you on the phone. Please understand, you are responsible for communications with the butcher. We can talk to you on the phone (571-261-0367) to walk you through filling out the cut sheet. (Cut Sheet HERE)
3. We will contact you when the meat is finished. You may pickup at our farm, or we will deliver to you (If you are within 30 miles of Goldvein, VA) At pickup, your remaining balance after the deposit will be due. Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card (extra 3% fee).
EXAMPLE: If the hanging weight of your half hog is 87lbs, that means the cost is $522 ($6.00lb) to Oz Homestead, plus butcher costs of approximately $155.70 (without any curing or sausage).
